About BigG Driving School

BigG Driving School is a family-run driving school delivering various types of driving tuition to customers around southeast London. We do have professionally qualified driving instructors covering Croydon, New Addington, Selsdon, Purley, Sanderstead, West Wickham, Shirley, Bromley, Norwood, Streatham, Norbury, Mitcham, Carshalton, Wallington, Caterham, and many more. All our instructors have superb customer service at heart. They will get you on the road and tailor your lessons to your needs.

Services we offer at BigG Driving School

Beginner lessons: - As a beginner, you will probably feel quite nervous about learning to drive. BigG driving school will take you through this initial stage. They will assess your individual needs and tailor your lessons accordingly. Lessons will be delivered by one of our fully qualified instructors, using a dual-controlled vehicle which is tax, fully insured and has a valid MOT where necessary. Our instructors will pick and drop you at your home address or your specified location*. Please remember your provisional licence; your instructor will need to see it.

Intensive lessons: - If you want to pass your practical driving test quickly, consider an intensive course with us. An intensive course will normally see you complete your training within a few weeks. Most pupils will want to take holidays from work to complete an intensive course, or if you are a student on holiday, you can take the opportunity to undertake an intensive course.

We strongly recommend an intensive course only when you have passed your theory test.

Pass Plus is an extra training scheme for newly qualified drivers. The DVSA designed this scheme to help learners acquire more skills and be safer drivers. It also allows learners to work on areas they could not develop during their learning process. Other benefits include insurance discounts from insurance companies participating in the scheme. The syllabus covers six modules with a minimum of six (6) hours to complete.

Out of town and Rural driving

Night time driving

All Weather driving

Dual Carriageways

Motorway

Once completed you will receive a certificate from the DVSA. There is no test after completion as you will be assessed throughout the training.

Refresher and UK familiarisation lessons. If you passed your test, have not driven for a long time, or are from abroad and want to familiarise yourself with UK roads, we can help you achieve it.

Motorway and UK familiarisation lessons are available at our standard lesson rates. From July 2022, learner drivers are allowed to practice motorway driving. This lesson has to be with an ADI with a dual-control car. Once you are test ready and more confident, your instructor can take you on a motorway to practice.

Our ORDIT instructors will help you achieve your grade A at your standard check. All our ADIs receive help with their standard check from an ORDIT instructor free of charge. Just give us a call.
